Batmobile – 1/10 Art Scale – Batman The Animated Series
Crossing the streets of Gotham City, a high-speed black car with jet exhaust appears. With a design that brings retro elements in perfect harmony with modern and bold features endowed with high technology, Iron Studios proudly present the statue “Batmobile – Batman The Animated Series – Art Scale 1/10”, with the hooded crusader most iconic vehicle, from the acclaimed animated series developed by Bruce Timm and Paul Dini, celebrating the 30 years of success of the series that is considered by many the best Dark Knight’s adaptation for other media.
Produced by Warner Bros. Animation between 1992 and 1995, Batman: The Animated Series is widely praised and commended by its noir aesthetics and thematic complexity, its success led it to win four Emmy awards, including Outstanding Animated Series. Designed and built by Earl Cooper, a Global Motors top car designer saved by Batman, as seen in the episode “The Mechanic”, the 48th episode of the series, the Batmobile was inspired by a vehicle Bruce Wayne saw on Gotham\’s World\’s Fair when he was young, fact that was presented in the feature film derived from the series, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm from 1993. This Batmobile look (the second produced by Iron Studios) also brings references to the version presented in Batman’s movie from 1989, that also got an Art Scale 1/10 statue made previously by Iron Studios.
With 85 episodes, the series’ success defined Bruce Timm’sanimation style in the next DC series, both for Batman and other DC Comics icons like Superman and the Justice League. Over a stylized pedestal, this statue is unmissable for any fan and collector of Batman, and it’s already available for Pre-Order.
