Bruce Wayne – 1/1 Scale Live-Size Bust – The Dark Knight
Batman is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Batman is the alias of Bruce Wayne, a wealthy American playboy, philanthropist, and industrialist who resides in Gotham City. Batman’s origin story features him swearing vengeance against criminals after witnessing the murder of his parents Thomas and Martha as a child, a vendetta tempered with the ideal of justice. He trains himself physically and intellectually, crafts a bat-inspired persona, and monitors the Gotham streets at night.
Our Batman bust statue is based on Batman from Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy, portrayed by Christian Bale. In terms of overall design, Batman is wearing his iconic suit with a black cloak on his back. While holding his mask around his waist, his face is completely exposed, his head is slightly turned to the left, and he looks into the distance with deep and firm eyes as if he is ready to fight evil at any moment. A true masterpiece and an icon of cinematic history, Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight is one of the most acclaimed superhero movies of all time, and we are honoured to create one of the most iconic live-action Batmans in history.
Whether it is the posture in which the Dark Knight holds the helmet, the confident and calm expression, or even the dark color scheme, all of these are indicative of the character’s nobility and righteousness.
To make Christian’s facial image more realistic, platinum silicone material was used for the head sculpture to perfectly restore the texture of his face in the film. In terms of eye color, we strictly adhered to the actor’s eye colour, featuring deep gray and black pupils. The chiseled face, deep browbones, straight nose, and tight lips demonstrate the vigilance and composure of a warrior. It was crucial for us to recreate as many details of the face as possible during the sculpting process. The shallow scars under the eyelids, and the mole on the side of the nose bridge. These imperceptible details are captured perfectly by the statue.
Unlike most superheroes, Batman does not possess any superpowers, instead relying on his intellect, fighting skills, and wealth. This version of the Batsuit combines elegance, ergonomics, and tactical ability. The helmet, shoulder armor, breastplate, and arm plates were all designed to fit the muscles of the human body. The iconic Dark Knight logo is seen on his chest.
The base’s design is influenced by the Batmobile. In the center of the base, there is a light-up logo of the Dark Knight. Both sides have symmetrically arranged lights in the style of the Batmobile’s lights. The blue&white lighting effect is in sharp contrast with the black Batsuit. Dazzling and solemn, like a declaration of justice breaking through the shackles of the night!
After the epic adventure in “Batman: The Dark Knight Rises”, Catwoman and Batman ended up together and lived happily ever after. Both retired and lived normal lives instead of being superheroes. Infinity Studio’s DC series – 1/1 bust of Selena Kyle perfectly captures the beauty and essence of Catwoman in the film.
