It’s been three years since Marvel Studios’ smash hit Guardians of the Galaxy took us into deep space to witness the defeat of the evil Ronan the Accuser and his Kree fleet by a group of misfits and outlaws with nothing but pure will (and a little groove) on their side. Direct from the long-awaited, upcoming sequel Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2comes the now infamous leader of the Guardians Peter Quill and a recently re-born arboreal ally in Kotobukiya’s signature 1/6 scale ARTFX Statue series with STAR-LORD WITH GROOT!
Sculpted by Dave Cortes, Star-Lord is rendered in exacting detail (by referencing actual film assets) in a sweet action pose brandishing his twin quad blasters! Caught in mid run as he advances on those who would hurt the innocent, Peter Quill is over 12 ½ inches tall (1/6 scale) on his included environmental display base depicting an intricately decorated futuristic floor. Enjoy the flexibility of various display options through the use of additional headpieces and accessories. You can switch out his unmasked head for a helmeted version according to your preferences, and take on and off his rad retro headphones. As an added bonus Groot appears to assist Star-Lord in his diminutive juvenile form, and can ride on the heroic outlaw’s shoulder or try to keep pace alongside him!
