Kotobukiya’s ARTFXJ Statue lineup (a bold expansion designed “to bring Japanese characters to their fans worldwide”) takes a gamble with its next character, the main character from the Kakegurui series featuring an elite private academy where wealthy students compete against each other in games of chance. Always shaking things up with her love of gambling and taking risks is Yumeko Jabami! This is the first figure of Yumeko to hit the market, and it perfectly captures her wild spirit as the young lady stretches out her hand, inviting you to bet all that you have against her. She stands in a cute, feminine pose on her tip toes with her legs crossed, tightly turning her upper body to give a great sense of motion to her clothing and hair. Yumeko wears a unique school outfit with a deep red jacket, black pleated skirt with a subtle pattern, dark gray stockings, and sensible brown shoes. There are tons of intricate details on her clothing from the white shirt peeking out from underneath her jacket, hems, seams, and buttons, and more. The compulsive gambler clutches her chest with one hand while the other reaches out toward you, all the while tilting her head back and smiling at you with her red eyes sparkling. Meanwhile, Yumeko’s incredible purple-black hair is rendered in countless individual strands and tendrils swirling around her and matching the motion of her skirt! Sculpted by Tsukuru Shirahige, Yumeko Jabami stands almost 5 ½ inches tall (1/8 scale) atop a specially designed acrylic base featuring a playing card design.
