The Flash – 1/6 Scale ARTFX Statue
A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! Kotobukiya has a great partnership with DC Comics superstar artist Jim Lee, and their collaboration is responsible for the incredible ARTFX Statues Superman: For Tomorrow, Batman: Black Costume, and Wonder Woman. Now they’ve done it again with another super popular hero from the pages of DC Comics, THE FLASH! Based on a concept illustration drawn by Jim Lee at a special talk show/interview event held at the Kotobukiya store in Akihabara comes the Scarlet Speedster Barry Allen, the second Flash and founding member of the Justice League.
Don’t blink or you’ll miss him! The Flash has stopped running just long enough to give supervillains a taunting smile in this dynamic ARTFX presentation. Barry stands with his arms and legs spread, looking to one side to survey his surroundings before taking off in a burst of Speed Force lighting. The hero wears his traditional comic book costume featuring a full bodysuit that leaves only the lower part of his face and his eyes exposed. The rest of his muscular body is covered in skin-tight scarlet with yellow boots, winged ear coverings, and lightning bolt accents on the forearms and waist. Every detail is perfect including the iconic lightning bolt symbol on his chest and Barry’s blue eyes and confident smile!
Sculpted by Kouei Matsumoto, the same incredible artist who collaborated with Jim Lee on the Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman ARTFX Statues, the Flash stands just under 12 inches tall (1/6 scale) on his specially designed display base.
