Alfred Pennyworth who’s raised Bruce, is brutally murdered; consumed by grief and despair and unable to cope with the emotional turmoil, Batman decides to merge his consciousness with an artificial intelligence version of Alfred, called Alfred Protocol. This fusion leads to the creation of the Murder Machine, a dark and malevolent version of Batman augmented with the abilities of super-advanced AI.
