Glamdring was an ancient sword carried by Gandalf the Grey, an old but powerful wizard and friend to Frodo Baggins. A magical sword, Glamdring served Gandalf in his mission to aid the Fellowship of the Ring. The Glamdring scabbard is wrapped with leather that has been dyed blue in the same Elven style as the handgrip of the Glamdring sword. Gandalf carried this scabbard until he died battling the Balrog atop Zirak-zigil.
