As they are getting married, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann are arrested and sentenced to death by Lord Beckett for aiding Captain Jack Sparrow’ escape. In exchange for freedom they make a deal to get Beckett Jack’s compass, and are forced to join Jack on yet another misadventure.
