Gentle Giant Ltd. officially revealed their Droids Artoo-Detoo (R2-D2) Jumbo Kenner action figure in their booth at Star Wars Celebration: Anaheim 2015. The figure was slated to be one of their 2015 San Diego Comic-Con exclusives, but made a small amount available for pre-order for their Premier Guild Members on June 4, 2015. This figure was based on the classic Kenner 3 3/4-inch action figure of the same name released in 1985.
